Meaning
Simile that compares the swinging of a necklace to the motion of the Japanese weapon nunchaku. Expensive necklaces are called chains. Because they can be long and contain heavy pendants they can swing during normal activity. A person wielding nunchaku will swing them around their torso to gain momentum for more powerful strikes.
